Life Center

The project in progress is to create a Hospital with a Regional Center of Reference for Chronic and Degenerative Illnesses with emphasis in renal illnesses. For that to happen the Pro-Kidney Foundation purchased an area of land with 17.000 m² and is building a Hospital with an area of 10.446 m² with full infrastructure to attend these type of patients. The main emphasis of the Pro-Kidney Foundation is prevention, diagnosis, treatment and education of health professionals and of the population in general. This reference center must be combined to the Governmental Health Plan, communitarian and private public units existent. The Hospital will function as an anchor project of a bigger center called Life Center which will have many other units: a center for chronic diseases prevention and promotion of health, one Apart Hotel, two office buildings, a center of rehabilitation for chronic patients and other areas still to be defined depending on the needs of the Foundation. The Pro-Kidney Foundation intends to construct the second phase of the project with almost a thousand square meters. This phase will shelter the Foundation’s administrative sector.
