Volunteer Work

Since 2002 a group of people has assisted the Pro-Kidney Foundation through voluntary work. There are more than 100 interested people in volunteer work that have chosen to help the Pro-Kidney Foundation in its mission to save lives. The volunteers have been able to help decreasing the suffering of those patients from lower social classes. Some of the social actions of this group are providing patients with a basic food basket, medication, clothes, and transportation for debilitated patients. The volunteers also organize Bazaars, meetings, parties with lunches and suppers in the community. On the other hand the Pro-Kidney Foundation motivates and invites professionals as nurses, accountants, assistants, specialists in marketing to offer a few weekly hours of its services to the entity. The president of the movement, Mrs. Sônia Maria Tavares Vieira promises great advances for this year and is preparing a full program of attractions for Easter, Mother’s Day and Christmas, and invites the interested people to become a volunteer at the Pro-Kidney Foundation.
